At the end of every year, our Goodmesh family grows a little bigger with world-renowned artists that have blessed our stage with breathtaking and intimate performances at our Annual Goodmesh Concert.

It is thrilling to have stars such as pianist Anna Fedorova, violinist Eldbjørg Hemsing and violist Dana Zemtsov shift from the biggest of stages to sharing their personal stories and music for only a handful of people in our Goodmesh HQ.

We are excited to end 2022 with musical fireworks at a special event with renowned violinist ROSANNE PHILIPPENS. She will give an exclusive solo concert on December 10th, accompanied by bubbles and bites.

Join us for an exclusive solo performance with a special surprise. Program: The concert will include works from her solo album “Insight” with works of Bach, Biber, Ysaye, Enescu and improvisation.

“For this solo album I wanted to take up a new challenge to create a programme with my audience. I had the feeling that this would provide me with new insight…I asked the audience for feedback: how had they experienced the programme? The atmosphere, the sequence of the pieces and the length. Instead of treating my audience as passive listeners, I invited them to discuss these matters and feel involved. Slowly but surely the programme began to form a logical entity. This is what INSIGHT is all about. Be open to new insights and enjoy!”

Violinist Rosanne Philippens is an extraordinary communicator, with an innate musicality and an infectiously joyful yet sincere approach to music-making. Her playing is refined, exuberant and profound, and was described by the Dutch daily paper De Telegraaf as “energetic, sensitive and flawless.” She has performed widely across the Netherlands in the major halls and series both as soloist, director and chamber musician and is now increasingly in demand internationally. During the darkest moments of the Covid pandemic, Philippens channelled her energies into the creation of a new ensemble, the Vondel Strings, with whom she worked intensely and which led to a performance at the Concertgebouw and a new recording of Haydn and Stravinsky, released by Channel Classics.

Philippens plays on the 1727 Barrere Stradivarius, thanks to the generous support of the Elise Mathilde Foundation.
