Goodmesh Concours 2022: The Finals

Five finalists from Sweden, Hungary, France, Germany and Australia combine music with other art forms, such as visual arts and dance. 

Oftentimes the experience of a music performance is elevated, dimensions are added, or emotions are visualized, when it is combined with theater, painting, poetry, dance, or other art forms. Goodmesh Concours encourages new encounters and experiences between artists.

The Jury has selected 5 groups to showcase their performances live on stage. On December 1st, they will choose the winners of the First Prize and Second Prize, and the audience will vote to decide who wins the Audience Award.

What will you see and hear? The Five Finalists:

• Johannes Rydén and Simon Rydén: solo baroque cello with dance (Sweden)
• Róza Radnóti, Mátyás Virág and Rita Góbi: classical piano and cello, contemporary dance and visual art (Hungary)
• Naoko Uemoto, Victor Arul and Julie Ziegenhardt: saxophone, electronics and visual art (Australia)
• Alexandre Adam and Simon Machefert: guitar and acting (France)
• Marie Erndl, Tabea Wink, Paul Bießmann, Isabel Prieb, Ruth Brauchle and Stefan Popp: improvisation and artistic swimming (Germany)
